WERIT considers the results of FachPack 2015 and emphasises the industry focus

Euro Standard Stacking Containers and ESD pallets for automotive customers as well as IBC for the foodstuff industry aroused interest.

Altenkirchen, 09. October 2015 – WERIT had a clear message on this year’s FachPack: industry-oriented solutions. The industries of colours and varnishes, glues, foodstuff, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics and automotive do all have their individual needs and requirements. WERIT serves these with innovative and optimised products that were presented at the FachPack fair. The well-established IBC were presented as well as new Euro Standard Stacking Containers, a series of Stack and Nest Containers and new pallets from the IKP series. The TOPline IBC which holds materials with a density up to 2.4 g/cm2 and NUTRIline, the IBC for the foodstuff industry sparked the interest of the visitors to the fair.

“At the FachPack, which we classify as particularly successful, it turned out that our focus on industry is the right thing to do. The customers do not want to only see normal products, but solutions for their specific requirements.” Volker Wiegman, General Director of Sales Germany at WERIT, explains. “Thus we registered a special interest in specific pallet solutions for high loads, anti-slip equipment and half pallets. Especially in the automotive sector, the demand for ESD pallets and Euro Standard Stacking Containers was really strong.” Chistian Seidel, Market Manager of Transport and Storage Containers and Pallets, adds.

For the first time, WERIT presented an updated series of Euro Standard Stacking Containers with optimised properties for a higher stability and a better handling at the fair. These Stacking Containers can be used in the foodstuff sector as well as in the non-food industries. They are made from HDPE and thus are very easy to clean and therefore suited for the use in hygienic sensitive areas, such as the food industry.

Moreover, WERIT presented the ESD models of the Euro Standard Stacking Containers. They address suppliers of the automotive and electronics industries, as these special Stacking Containers are made from electroconductive plastic and were designed for the safe transport and storage of electronic assembly parts. They prevent a possible electrostatic discharge and protect the contents of damage, contamination and humidity.

IBCs for every requirement profile: From foodstuff to colours and varnishes

The Intermediate Bulk Containers were also in demand at the fair. The food industry turned its attention to the IBC series NUTRIline, which is designed to the specifications and requirements of the foodstuff sector. In the area of colours and varnishes and highly viscous dense filling material, the product TOPline – an IBC which can hold fillings with a density up to 2.4 g/cm2 with UN approval could convince the visitors.

“Our overall conclusion of the fair is very positive. It gains in international importance – our European Sales Team, that attended the FachPack, confirms the growing number of visitors to the fair and the resulting inquiries from all over the world.” says Astrid Bath, European Market Manager at WERIT.
