The IKP product range is manufactured from single-origin HDPE reclaim material. It is a robust dimensionally stable plastic pallet in Euro pallet size. It is characterised by its diverse variation options and thus, areas of application. Depending on the load capacity and safety requirements for transport, it can be fitted with up to 6 steel profiles and 12 anti-slip plugs.

Thanks to the use of robust HDPE or PE reclaimed material, these pallets are not only resistant to moisture and chemicals, but also durable and stable. With a load capacity of up to five tonnes static and around one and a half tonnes dynamic, these pallets are ideally suited for use in demanding environments. Thanks to their low tare weight of 14 to 18.5 kilograms compared to conventional wooden pallets, they offer an excellent combination of lightness and strength. FAQ
A 1200x1000 plastic pallet is also known as an industrial pallet. The dimensions are in millimetres, so that we can speak exactly of 1.20 metres by one metre. In addition to the common and very lightweight plastic version, there are also variants made of wood and composite materials. A distinction must be made between the 1200 x 1000 plastic pallet and a slightly smaller Euro pallet. The latter is predominant in Europe, while the larger format is mainly used in the United Kingdom. An industrial pallet can be recognised by its five runners. A major advantage is that IBC containers, forklift trucks, lorries and production facilities are also adapted to the format, meaning that handling is easy internationally.
An interesting fact at the end: HDPE plastic has been used commercially since 1957 for cable insulation, in pipework systems and packaging materials.
A plastic pallet with the dimensions 1200x1000 is called an industrial pallet. Strictly speaking, of course, all the other formats are also used in industry, but this naming has become established. It refers solely to the surface area and not the material, which can vary. Every industrial pallet is a so-called "four-way pallet". This refers to the possibility of working from all four sides with a forklift truck or pallet truck and ensuring transport. Within Europe, industrial pallets are categorised by the European Pallet Association (EPAL) as type 2 and type 3 Euro pallets. The differences are based on the tare weight.
As an industrial pallet, a plastic pallet also has the advantage over its wooden or composite counterparts of its own low weight. A distinction must be made between the number of runners, which can be three or five, and the presence of an anti-slip edge. The weight in the 1200x1000 format varies and is at least 14 kilograms and up to 18.5 kilograms. The static load capacity is listed on the data sheet as five tonnes and dynamic loads of between one and one and a half tonnes are possible. In the high rack, the industrial pallets differ from each other and allow 400 to 1,250 kilograms. The dimensions of all models are precisely tailored to industrial applications to ensure maximum efficiency.
