System separator

Maximum safety for your drinking water

The AquaGuard system separator reliably protects your home from contaminated water flowing back into the public drinking water network.
It safely separates your drinking water system from alternative water circuits such as rainwater cisterns, grey water systems or chemically contaminated water systems. AquaGuard therefore guarantees clean, hygienically perfect drinking water at all times - without compromise. With its intelligent, low-maintenance technology, AquaGuard fulfils all current safety and hygiene standards and provides peace of mind: your drinking water always remains pure, safe and protected.

AquaGuard

Standardised drinking water safety for every application

The certified WERIT AquaGuard system separators reliably protect against backflowing contaminants and thus permanently safeguard the quality of your drinking water. They prevent substances from consumer systems - such as irrigation systems, dental chairs, drinking troughs or swimming pool pipes - from entering the municipal drinking water pipe. According to the Drinking Water Ordinance DIN EN 1717, category 5 consumers must be disconnected from the drinking water network via a "free outlet".

With the AquaGuard, this free outlet is already conveniently and safely integrated in the separator storage tank - compact, reliable and standard-compliant. The appliances can be installed flexibly in the basement, garage or in a ground floor utility room and are particularly energy-efficient. This is made possible by the modern NUVOS pump technology with permanent magnet motor and inverter control. The result: extremely low power consumption, quiet operation and an exceptionally long service life.

In addition, the AquaGuard already fulfils the efficiency standards of the European Ecodesign Directive (EuP). Other intelligent protective functions such as pressure adjustability, anti-freeze, dry-running and temperature protection make AquaGuard an all-round safe, low-maintenance and convenient solution for numerous water supply applications.

What is a system separator used for?

The system separator is used to ensure hygiene in the drinking water network and protects against

  • Backflow (water flows from a connected system back into the drinking water network)
  • Back pressure (higher pressure in the connected system pushes water back)
  • Suck-back (e.g. in the event of negative pressure in the pipe network)

This protects the public drinking water from contamination, germs or chemicals.

AquaGuard system separators reliably protect drinking water from contamination. They safely separate drinking water and consumer systems from each other and prevent backflow from connected systems. They are intended for use wherever category 5 consumers must be separated from the public drinking water supply in accordance with DIN EN 1717.
