WERIT is systematically driving forward the strategic and personnel reorganisation of the family-owned company under the leadership of Managing Director Kerstin Dorn. As of 1 March 2025, we have bundled our business areas at the three German locations into the Building Technology (Benjamin Schmid), Packaging (Nina Schnitzler) and Reconditioning (Lars von Schweppenburg) business units.

Sustainability as a guiding principle
Lars von Schweppenburg, Head of the Reconditioning business unit, emphasises: "As a family business, WERIT stands for cross-generational responsibility and sustainable, environmentally conscious behaviour. Through innovative production processes, we combine environmental protection and economic efficiency in the best possible way for our customers."
Sustainability is also a key issue in the Packaging business unit. "WERIT sees itself as a pioneer in the environmentally conscious industry. We are increasing our production and sustainability at the same time by recycling and reusing raw materials in-house. In this way, we are making a significant contribution to a closed raw material cycle," explains Nina Schnitzler.
In the Building Technology business unit, the focus is on innovation. "We integrate sustainability into all our processes. As a forward-looking family business, this is a matter of course for us," says Benjamin Schmid, Head of the Building Technology business unit. "Our customised and high-quality product solutions make the construction process and operation more economical, safer and more sustainable."
