WERIT is systematically driving forward the strategic and personnel reorganisation of the family-owned company under the leadership of Managing Director Kerstin Dorn. As of 1 March 2025, we have bundled our business areas at the three German locations into the Building Technology (Benjamin Schmid), Packaging (Nina Schnitzler) and Reconditioning (Lars von Schweppenburg) business units.

Focus on the circular economy and resource use
Lars von Schweppenburg, Head of the Reconditioning business unit, emphasises: "As a family-owned business, WERIT stands for intergenerational responsibility and a conscious approach to materials and resources. By processing and reusing suitable components, we combine cost-effective solutions with longer-term use of materials and products, thereby increasing the value we provide to our customers."
The Packaging business unit also focuses on material usage and reuse. “WERIT sees itself as a pioneer in environmentally conscious manufacturing. As we expand our production, we recycle suitable raw materials in-house and reintroduce them into the production process. This allows suitable materials to be reused within the production process,” explains Nina Schnitzler.
The Building Services Business Unit focuses on innovation. “When further developing our processes, we take into account, among other things, material and energy consumption as well as opportunities for efficient water use. As a forward-looking family-owned company, this is a matter of course for us,” says Benjamin Schmid, Head of the Building Technology Business Unit. “Our customized, high-quality product solutions support cost-effective and safe construction and operation and, depending on the application, enable, for example, a more targeted use of water and energy.”
