In your training as a tool mechanic, you will learn how to manufacture injection moulding and blow moulding tools for production.
To manufacture the tools, you will use computer-controlled machines and hand-held tools, among other things. You will use technical drawings to record functions, plan your work steps and select your equipment. During your apprenticeship, you will learn about the different materials and their properties as well as the various options for metalworking.

- Industrial foreman or technician
- Studies in the field of mechanical engineering or process optimisation

Your profile
Are you a craftsman with a sure instinct, do you work with precision and have an understanding of technology? Maths and physics are your favourite subjects? You can combine all of these strengths in the tool mechanic apprenticeship.
You have completed secondary school and have an interest in technology, maths and physics.
