Plastic pallets and plastic containers for electrostatically sensitive components
WERIT transports all these attributes into its product world. For example, the innovative H1-L plastic pallet was developed in line with this guiding principle. It was specially developed for the automotive industry and its suppliers. As a conductive, antistatic plastic pallet, it protects electrostatically sensitive components from becoming charged.
The range is supplemented by reusable transport packaging such as the Euronorm ESD containers with or without lids, which are also made of electrostatically conductive plastic. The design and material prevent possible electrostatic discharge. They are suitable for manual handling but also for automatic conveyor technology. Plastic pallets and plastic containers are unbreakable, dimensionally stable, durable, resistant to cold and heat and 100% recyclable.
Another example of the extensive range of half, Euro and industrial pallets for different applications is the Euro pallet IKP1208 with 22 mm outer edge. Specially developed for the automotive and supplier industry, this plastic pallet offers a high level of load security when using KLT containers and blister packs.

FAQ
ESD containers are made of electrically conductive polypropylene and protect sensitive electronic components from electrostatic discharge (ESD). They prevent the accumulation and sudden discharge that can damage sensitive electronic components. With a defined surface resistance of 10⁴ to 10⁶ ohms, the containers fulfil common ESD standards. In addition, all models have design features such as reinforced frames, smooth inner surfaces and optional accessories such as lids or hinges. They are also break-proof, suitable for automated conveyor technology and are characterised by high stackability. ESD containers are therefore ideal for almost any application in production, warehouse logistics or assembly - wherever sensitive electronic products are processed, stored or transported. Compared to standard boxes, they offer clear advantages in terms of safety.
In order for ESD stacking containers to fulfil their protective function in the long term, they should be cleaned regularly and stored properly. Dust and deposits can impair conductivity, which can lead to uncontrolled electrostatic charges. Excessive friction on rough surfaces can also impair conductivity and should therefore be avoided. Regular cleaning therefore makes a decisive contribution to the stability of the protective function. Store the containers in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When stacking, pay attention to the permissible loads and heights as well as the dimensions and weight of each stacking container, especially when storing on pallets. It is best to store the ESD stacking containers in an ESD protection zone - this is a work area with a grounded floor and conductive shelves that serves the purpose of safely and immediately dissipating static charges.
The load capacity and stacking load of our Euroboxes depends on the size, material design and intended use. As a rule, the load capacity of individual boxes is around 20-30 kg, while the stacking load can be several hundred kilograms depending on the surface and temperature.
